Healthy and Happy
Being happy isn’t just about which CDs you own, what colour your
hair is, which jeans you wear and where you hang out (although it
does help sometimes!). It’s about relationships, keeping fit, what
your ambitions are, what’s available to you and ‘being at one’ with
yourself.

Connexions has an
Access Point at Ashford’s Skate Park. Here there are Connexions
Personal Advisors (PAs) and Youth Workers who all offer advice and
support for young people. There is a relaxing environment including
a lounge area where tea and coffee is available and there are also
1-1 rooms - a place of confidential personal help and advice.
Currently there are Anger Management courses for those referred to
from schools and PAs,
Social Services, Youth Offending Team and maybe some parents.
Sk8side has a drop-in opening times are 12pm - 5pm Monday to
Thursday – Saturdays 12pm 3pm. From 8th August the centre will be
open on Wednesday evenings until 8pm. This is your Connexions where
you can relax and socialise building relationships with your
PAs. The Teenage
clinic is now on Saturday mornings at Vicarage Lane, Ashford TN23
