Ashford Youth Forum Trust

Yes, Ashford has its very own voice for young people! The Ashford Youth Forum Trust (AYFT) discusses and debates the latest local issues and has separate issue groups including transport, health, entertainment and leisure, crime and communications.

 

Each group meets once every 3 or 4 weeks – there is a formal method of communicating these issues and suggestions back to the Council and its partner agencies.They really make a difference and you can get involved..

If you would like to join the AYFT simply download the Consent Form 44.8Kb PDF. Ask a parent/guardian (for participants of the AYFT that are under 18 years) to complete and sign it and post it to: Carol Morton, Youth Projects Coordinator, Ashford Borough Council, Civic Centre, Tannery Lane, Ashford TN23 1PL.
