Join the Little Burton Neighbourhood Youth Forum

Young people from the Little Burton Estate in Ashford have the chance to have a say on what happens in their neighbourhood.

Little Burton Neighbourhood Youth Forum is looking for new members aged 12 to 19-years-old to join its regular meetings and share ideas and concerns about their neighbourhood.

In the three years since it was formed, the forum has achieved a great deal – thanks to their hard work and input on key decisions, the estate now has a youth shelter, new goal posts, a games area and new equipment at the fishing club.

The Forum is part of the larger Ashford Youth Forum, which represents all young people in Ashford.

Anyone from Little Burton who is interested in getting involved in their local community can come to the next Youth Forum meeting on Thursday 3rd September, at the Rugby Club from 5pm to 6pm.

The meetings are informal and can be lots of fun as well as helpful.
